Mr Richard Hogg is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and the head of ENTr, his private practice based at 53 Victoria Street in the heart of Douglas.
Born and raised on the Isle of Man, Richard Hogg graduated in 1992 with a BSc in Pharmacology alongside his medical degree. He began specialised surgical training in the West Midlands deanery in 1998, gaining experience across general ENT (including children), thyroid surgery, and facial plastics of the head and neck. He was appointed as a Consultant in 2004 and spent the following seven years in Carlisle before returning to the Isle of Man in 2011, where he has since offered both NHS and private services.

Ear — blocked ear, hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo and balance problems, ear infections, glue ear, perforated eardrum, otosclerosis
Nose — allergic rhinitis, blocked or runny nose, sinusitis, nasal polyps, deviated septum, nosebleeds, sleep apnoea, snoring, loss of smell

How It Works
Initial consultations and follow-up appointments take place at the ENTr clinic on Victoria Street. More complex procedures and surgery are undertaken at Noble’s Hospital or at specialist facilities in the UK. Mr Hogg provides full continuity of care — you will see the same surgeon at every appointment, including your surgery and post-operative review.
No GP referral is required to book with Mr Hogg.
